Below, we have compiled everything you need to know before arrival.
Activities
Activities program
See the current program here. The program will also be handed out upon arrival.
Court booking
You can book badminton, squash and tennis (outdoor, summer only) against a fee. Settled upon departure.
Book courts online or from one of the computers in the reception - free internet access.
Bicycle rental
Bicycles and children's seats can be rented at the ski centre. Bicycles can be rented for 1 day or ½ a day.
Søhøjlandet Golf Resort
18-hole championship course and 9 hole Pay & Play course. Within opening hours, greenfee, tokens and equipment
rental take place at the golf resort - outside opening hour it's in the reception.
Angling
From 1 March to 15 November angling card for angling in Gjern Å can be bought in the centre shop.
You must bring your own angling gear. Please notice that a national Danish angling licence is obligatory.
Ski centre
The ski centre offers ski lessons for beginners every weekend and on weekdays during highseason.
Advance booking is recommended. All year you must wear waterproof clothes with long sleeves and legs as well as gloves on the ski slope.
All prices for skiing include ski pass and equipment. Ski pass valid for all guests in the chalet is available.
With the ski pass you have free access to the ski slope during the rental period.
Tropical water park
Great water park with a 56 m long water slide with light and sound effects. Spa and children's pool with adventure land.
Please notice: Life guards will not be present at all times and children under 12 years must always be accompanied by an adult.
Meals
Centre shop
Small selection of dairy products, processed food, freshly baked bread, sports equipment and souvenirs.
Highland Café & Pub
Highland Café & Pub is a cosy restaurant/café, perfectly placed at the base of the ski slope. Light meals are served at the pub.
The kitchen is closed on Sundays and Mondays. After dinner you can try one of the many specialty beers while enjoying the view of the ski slope.
PIPStop
In PIPStop, you can buy different snacks/light meals and beverages - cappuccino, slush ice, filled pancakes or take away.
Restaurant
On weekends and during holdiays, the restaurant has different theme parties. We also offer menus for groups of more than 10 persons.

Snurre Snups Pizza & Pasta
Snurre Snups Pizza & Pasta offers pizzas and light meals. Take away is also available. On weekends and during holidays, we welcome you to
All Inclusive buffet w/pizza, pasta, salads and ice cream in the evening. Free beverages for a limited time period
(beer, soft drinks, house wine, coffee/tea).
Weekend meals
All year, we offer weekend meals. You decide whether it should be from Friday or Saturday. For dinner it's optional, which restaurant you choose.
Breakfast buffet is in the restaurant.
Accommodation
Some of the A-chalets are allergy-friendly. These must be booked in advance and pets are not allowed.
Arrival / departure
Your chalet is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival, but the activities cards are handed out before so you have access to the activities all day.
The same goes for the departure day, where the activies can be used after check-out. Check-out must be done at 10:00 at the latest,
Sundays outside school holidays at 12:00. If there's no new arrival in the chalet, check-out can be postponed to 16:00 against a fee.
Please contact the reception about this during your stay. When departing outside the reception's opening hours: please check-out the night before,
1 hour before the reception closes at the latest.
Cots and highchairs
Can be booked in advance in the reception against a fee. The cot includes duvet/pillow and linen.
ChildPlus chalets
BørnePlus chalets, specially equipped for families with toddlers can be booked in advance against fee. Pets are not allowed in these chalets.
Handicap-friendly chalets
Some of the A-chalets are handicap-friendly. They are designed without base units and doorsteps, so it's easy to get around in a wheelchair.
Bath chair. Dishwasher in kitchen.
Pets
Dogs are welcome, but must be at leash in the entire area at all times. 1 pet is allowed per chalet against a fee. Please inform the reception
when booking if you bring a pet.
Don't forget
Besides personal belongings it will be a good idea to bring toilet paper, kitchen roll, bin bags, washing-up liquid, dishwasher detergent,
cleaning detergent, salt and pepper, extra tea towels and dishcloths, bed linen and towels (if not reserved) and maybe a tablecloth/place mats.
Upon arrival there will be a start package in the chalet with 1 tea towel, 1 dishcloth, 1 soap tablet (for dishwasher) and 1 piece of handsoap.
Bed linen
Bed linen is not included in your stay, but linen packages incl. 1 towel can be booked in advance. Against an extra fee, you can also book the
chalet with made beds. Extra towel can be rented. Duvets and pillows are in the chalet.
Environmental tax
Environmetal tax is charged for power and heat consumption in the chalets. In yard 1, you'll pay for district heating. The price is stated upon arrival..
Facilities
Barbecue
In each yard (chalet no. 100-423) you'll find a large barbecue. Coal can be bought in the centre shop. The barbecue cannot be reserved. By the barbecue there's a table seating up to 15 persons. You can also rent a Smokey Joe Weber grill for the chalet.
Internet
Wireless network in the centre building and two computers with free internet access by the reception.In the Deluxe charlet there is free wireless
internet access.
Ironing board/iron
There is ironing board in each common house in the yards, while the iron can be borrowed in the reception.
Washing machine
There is washing machine and tumbler in each yard. Tokens can be bought in the centre shop. Each Deluxe chalet has a washing machine and tumbler.
Safety box
Can be rented in the reception.
